Show Cottonwood By Ann Turpln Annette Hibbard and Gary Chase will be married June 6. After the wedding a reception will be held in the Cottonwood 1st Ward. , Dee and Nadine Carter are all smiles over a new arrival at their home. Nadine had a fine baby girl last week. Mother and daughter doing fine-father not so good. We have several college students stud-ents due home from college for the summer Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Mar-chant Mar-chant announce the engagement of their daughter, Beth, to Carl H. Marlon. The wedding i3 planned for August 18. Mr. Mar-low Mar-low graduated from BYU in 1958. The South Cottonwood Ward will present a three-act play on June 11. This is under the direction of the MIA. Friends of Mrs. Lawrence B. Turpin were saddened at the news of her death, June 2. Mrs. Turpin was 73 and her death was of natural causes. Mary Jean Gorrige, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Gorringe I was married Thursday June 5. I Arlene Nelson, wife and family are taking their vacation in Yellowstone Park. Sylvia Boelter was the only girl in the second year beehive class in Cottonwood Stake with 100 attendance to all her meetings. David Ross Faber leaves June , 13 for a six month tour of duty with the U. S. Army; Karen Turpin left June 5 for Nevada for a visit with her . Aunt in Sparks. They plan to . tour California. Karen plans to return in. about" a' month. |
