Show Jm OLYMPUS HIGH By Kathleen Hinckley j Springtime in Paris, or "Prin-temps" "Prin-temps" filled the Olympus High gymnasium last Friday evening at the annual Men's Assoc. Dance. Couples enjoyed the Parisian atmosphere at-mosphere amid the sidewalk cafes and the suggested hat and perfume shops. A replica of the Eiffel Tower Tow-er took its place in front of a Paris Skyline. A Paris park set the background back-ground for the crowning of the queen, Miss Peggy Hansen, and her two attendants Barbara Nelson and Linda Linebaugh. Refreshments were enjoyed by everyone including Sharon Still-man Still-man and Clare Williams, Janet Williams and Brian Walker. Carole Cooper and Gordon Rkld, Carolyn Wagstaff and Bill Roderick, Rode-rick, Karen Mcrhie and Steve Kol-hert Kol-hert danced to the music of Gordon Barton and his band. The Men's Association, under the direction of Pres. Ted Lyon, did an outstanding job. The band and orchestra concert was held last Thursday evening in the auditorium of Olympus High. The program, under the direction of Mr. Weight, was presented for the purpose of raising funds for the students who are attending the Music Conference in Fasadena, California this spring. The concert featured Barbara Bagley with a piano solo. Following the program, a dance was held in the gymnasium. |
