Show Pvt. Joe A. Martinez Jr. of Salt Lake is a member of one of the 101st Airborne Division Divis-ion rifle companies flown from Campbell, Ky, to Puerto Rico on May 13 to be kept in readiness readi-ness to protect Vice-President RRichard M. Nixon, then in Caracas, Venezuela. The 20-year-old soldier, whose parents live at 4095 Fourth E., entered the Army in June 1957 and was last stationed station-ed at Fort Lewis, Wash. Specialist Third Class Ronald G. Heywood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gardiner L. Heywood, 2190 Lake St., recently attended a three-day religious retreat at the Army's Far East retreat site near Seoul. Walsh, 21, son of S. A. Walsh, 1235 Princeton Ave. recently completed the 15-week 15-week switchboard and communications commun-ications equipment installation and repair course at the Army Southeastern Signal School, Fort Gordon, Ga. 1st. Lt. Gus G. Angelos,28, son of Mr. and Mrs.George Angelos 127 Harvard Ave., is a dentist with the 130th Station Stat-ion Hospital in Heidelberg. He entered the Army in July 1957 and arrived overseas last September. Army Specialist Third Class Joseph W. Rushton, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Rushton, 3990 W. 3100, S., Salt Lake City, recently participated in a tactical parachute jump conducted con-ducted by the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Ky. PFC Steve G. Kallas, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Kallas, 1865 S. Ninth. E, Salt Lake City, recently participated in a joint German-American military milit-ary demonstration in Baum-holder, Baum-holder, Germany. Pvt. Neil Plummer Jr., whose parents live at 5220 Holladay blvd., recently arrived in France and was assigned to Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, near Paris. PFC Albert L. Bernard, 23, whose wife, Vonita, lives at 1419 Logan ave., is a clerk-typits clerk-typits in the U. S. Army Quartermaster Quar-termaster Depot's Headquarters Headquart-ers Company in Metz, France. Specialist Third Class Kenneth Ken-neth W. Poulton, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank R. Poulton, 3661 S. 20th, E. is a stenographer stenograph-er in the engineer section of Headquarters, Seventh Army. Specialist Second Class Orin R. Howard, 25, son of Mr. and Mrs. Orin P. Howard, 1529 Ramona Ave., is an aidman at the 60th Station Hospital in Chinon, France. Pvt. Paul H. Bishop, 19, whose wife, Ann, lives in River-ton River-ton recently completed the airplane air-plane maintenance course at the Army Avation Center, Fort Rucker, Ala. Pvt. Durward K. Bagley, son of Durwaard Bagley, 846 Elgin Ave., Salt Lake City, recently was graduated from the 101st Airborne Division's Jump School at Fort Campbell, Ky. Pvt. Emmett G. Stratton, whose wife. Shirlene, lives at 3374 S. Second, W. recently completed eight weeks of tank training at the Army's Armor Training CCenter, Fort Knox, Ky. PFC Grant A.
