Show CO. F GUARD NEWS. Judging from the actions of Capt. Kamerman and the expression of his face, he was very much surprised sur-prised when the door of the Armory Arm-ory was opened for him last Saturday Satur-day evening. The trouble was caused by a large party of the Captain's Cap-tain's relatives and friends, who had gathered at the Armory, unknown un-known to him. Progressive sixty-three, sixty-three, crokinole and carrom were the order of the evening until a late hour, when refreshments were served. Afterwards short speeches were made, followed by a few selections se-lections from the mandolin and guitar club. Then the young folks played some old-fashioned games, which were enjoyed by both participants par-ticipants and spectators, after which they adjourned at an early hour in the morning, expressing themselves " as having had the "best time of the season." s The committee on social affairs has been busy daring the past week decorating the Armory. Private Miles Denison lias returned re-turned from the desert. The new equipments have not yet been issued. |
