Show THE CITY COUNCIL. Council met in regular session Oct. 20th, Mayor Anderson presiding. presid-ing. Roll called, Councilor Tuttle absent. Prayer by Mayor. A petition by R. Hall, Jr.. for remission of city taxes, owing to damage done by water of city creek, was presented. The petition was denied and the Recorder instructed to notify Mr. Hall of the decision of the council. Katrina Anderson, an indigent, petitioned to have her city taxes, $1.00, remitted. On motion it was remitted in full. Niela Hanson, Sr., petitioned for remission of his city tax. The petition pe-tition was not granted. Chas. A. Cox petitioned for correction cor-rection of erroneous assessment on city property, amounting to $4.00 of city tax. The petition was granted. The Watermaster's report for quarter ending Sept. 30, 1902, was presented and accepted . The Irrigation committee reported report-ed they had visited the Cottonwood reservoir, and they had instructed the Watermaster what to do. There were twelve teams working. They visited the South Fork and considered consid-ered the best place to take water out would be at the Meeting House brido-e, and recommended the same. They considered the Cottonwood reservoir should be raised four feet. The report was accepted. The minutes being read and approved, ap-proved, the council adjourned. |
