Show OBITUARY mrs wilma audrey rogers of dove creek colorado was born to mr and mrs J C weir feb 1 y 1899 in banceri rua I uary J I 1 1 coun ty texas her parents later moved is west texas where at the he age of eighteen she was married to haf 1 ry C rogers at spur on january 1918 in the spring of 1922 she and her husband and aneta of two yeara left texas and came to utah in in a covered wagon and home steadied in san juan county and have been residents of the dove deve creek section ever since mrs airs rogers was converted at the age of seventeen and became a member of the missionary baptist church and has ever since been in full fellowship and good standing in recent months her cares and burdens became so unbearable jesus said it was enough and bade her come up higher on january 1940 at a m she left this life of sorrow to go to meet her lord in that heavenly horne home why she had to go now we cannot understand but well all be gathered there in a few short years then well understand why and there well love supremely forever mrs rogers showed her love for her children was thoughtful of her mother and was a friend to the cause of christ oh she has become so infinitely sweet and precious to me her proven and undying love will ever inspire and influence me to higher and nobler living to it I 1 will ever be true oh I 1 can see that innocent soul as she swept through the beautiful gate and I 1 long to behold her in her celestial beauty after all that loving hands could do her body was laid to rest in the dove creek cemetery there to await the first resurrection surviving her to mourn her departure and to rejoice in her eternal inheritance are her husband and two daughters mrs aneta gore of twenty years and juddy may fourteen her father and mother of hobbs N M mrs jim walker of hobbs mrs mattie rouse of rankin texas mrs robbie norris of lubbock texas and mrs ruth haley of seagraves texas besides many friends long live sweet memories of fj ri her virtuous personality her y husband |
