Show young wife and mother snatched by angel of death the people of monticello were greatly shocked last monday morn ing to learn of the death in the moab hospital of mrs lloyd dalton young matron and the mother of three small children ranging in age 7 from one to five years mrs dalton had recently undergone an operation for appendicitis dic itis which to all appearances had been entirely successful and without visible complications the patient was just getting about again and was pleading to be allowed to return home to her kiddies and husband dr allen alien with his usual caution and thoroughness advised an additional day or two in the hospital we dont want to take any chances the doctor is quoted as saying it it was a tittle little before 8 a am in and mrs dalton was sitting up in a chair reading a magazine when appah apparently an un unabsorbed absorbed blood clot must have broken loose she was taken v violently 1 i ill and died in just two or three minutes it was a most sad and unforeseen calamity which affected and depressed dr allen alien almost as severely as the bereaved family famil Y only the night before drs allej alien and austin had conversed about her case over long distance telephone and dr austin had been informed that mrs daltons dalfons Dal tons condition could scarcely be better leaving her young husband and three small children is indeed a sad calamity and one hard to explain to the reasoning mind but it is not given to humans to comprehend all of the acts and purposes of the creator the lord and the lord away blessed be the name of the lord ruby winters dalton is the daughter of george and irene winters of summit point both of whom survive her deceased was 23 years of age she was married july 5 1934 to lloyd dalton of this place and three small children are the fruits of this union deceased is also survived by one sister catherine winters and five brothers the oldest of whom is floyd who resides in oregon and could not be present at the funeral the others all reside at summit point funeral services the funeral services were held in monticello yesterday afternoon and were presided over by bishop L frank redd who by request was one of the speakers the other being elder D B perkins both of whom spoke words of comfort and consolation to the bereaved relatives music was furnished by the three bronson brothers and james mcconkie A beautiful duk duet was sung by mr and mrs arci arch bronson 4 there were many beautiful floral flor 14 1 offerings t i the remains were taken to do doye e creek for burial and a number af f people from monticello followed the procession to the cemetery including bishop and mrs L frank redd bishop redd also dedicated dedica tid the grave it f k |
