Tami Harris will present the profile History will come alive at San Juan High School on Monday, March 6, at 7 p.m. when Profiles on Parade are presented by student researchers. As a preliminary to the Regional History Fair, and as a fund raiser, the students will share their research with the Amelia Earhart, Shana Stubbs on Lucy Harris, Kalen Oswald on Benito Juarez, and Harvey Black on Ivan the Terrible. The slide shows are: Kim Hurst on Indira Ghandi, Worthy Glover on the Beatles, Jeff Guymon on Picasso, David Ivins on Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Brenda and Cori Jones on on public. The presentations are interesting and entertaining, said Janet Wilcox, instructor. It will be an educational and cultural program the entire family will enjoy. Rick Burtenshaw of Zions Bank, representing Farmers Home Loan, said refinancing the secondary water loan could save the city as much as $190,000 and cut off 11 years of payments.
