Fridny night, when the Democrats of Sugar llouso held a woll-attcnded, earnest and enthusiastic meeting at thc Central school building and perfected the organization of lho "Sugar Ward Brvan and Kern Club of Dlstrlcls S7. SS ami SO." Th mooting was presided over by Christopher Alston, who was appointed temporary chairman, nnd William N'esblt actod as secretary. After a few brief romarlcs from William W. Hay, president of the Salt Lake Bryan club, a committer consisting of S. O. By water. N'leol Hood and G. H. Jslaub was appointed to draw up a set of bylaws by-laws lor thc club, which they Immediately did. thc same being ratified unanimously when presented a few minutes later, aftor which the officers wero elected as follows: fol-lows: President, G. II. Islaub; vlce-prcsldont. William Ncsblt; secretary, Christopher Alston; treasurer. -Miss lithel Gain. Tln executive committee Is composed of Xlcol Hood. D. It. Harris and John Jones, together to-gether with the president, vice-president nnd secretary as ox-offlcio members. Short addresses were made by William Lcary, J. O. Bywater, Nlcol Hood. 11. Savage. "This year no Democrat should shirk." declared Mr. Islaub. "There was never a year when tho spirit of Democracy prevailed as It does this year.
