Show The McFlynn-Hall Circuit. The performance given last night by tho New York circus and menagerie on Washington square, drew a tent full of peoplo. The circus is in every way equal to all that it advertises, and is worth tho price of admission charged. Col. G. VV. Hall is one ot the oldest show men on tho road. , Sara McFlynn, tho gcueral niauager, iw a pupil of the celebrated Dau Rice, and there aro few towns in the United States where he has not assisted iu giving a circus exhi bition. Among the features of last night's entertainment was tho performance perform-ance of the two big elephants, especially espe-cially that of the famous old female, "Queen," who was for n long time the admiration of Forcpaugh's show. Among the other interesting features are tho Tattcrson brothers, the world-renowned world-renowned gymnasts, they alone commanding com-manding a salary of $250 per week. Long Morres, the clown, kept the great crowd convulsed with laughter last night, and his topical songs were the hit of the evening. They have twenty-three head of ring stoek, consisting of ponies and Arabian and fox-hound breed. The show will remain in the city three more days, giving both afternoon and evening performances. |
