Lady readers may be interested in knowing something of the trunks that accompany Sarab Bernhardt, which recently, re-cently, to the number of forty-eight, interfered in-terfered with the traffic at Angiers station sta-tion and paralyzed nearly the whole of the railway staff there, Bays the Pall Matl Budget. The jury' In the case of Ephriam Nash vs. Schotioid Bros., who had been allowed to return a sealed verdict, came into court and a verdict of $400 for the plaintiff was declared; de-clared; but when the jury were polled, to the surprise of everybody, Thatcher Hallet and F. D. Alexander answered that it was not their verdict. The jury were remanded back to the jury room and after an absence of 80 minutes, were sent for by his honor who said he considered such . conduct unwarrantable, unwarranta-ble, and sharply reprimanded the two jurors. Such conduct, said he, was unworthy of any gentleman or any man of sense. Mr. Hallet desired to explnin but his honor would listen to no explanation. expla-nation. The jury was discharged. An Off.
