Show An article on our first page on "Woman suffrage in Utah," taken from tho Woman's Journal, says: "Let tho womon of Utah vote. That they do so is a bitter pill for Brigham Young and his satellites. We know that Young is utterly opposed to woman suffrago, and so expresses himself." him-self." This is the first time wc have heard that President Young is utterly opposed to woman suffrage, and hope some good soul, sistor or otherwise, of the faith that contends for woman's rights, will tell us how, when and where ho so expressed himself. But, apart from that, as it is urged in other quarters that President Young strongly clings to woman suffrago, perhaps the ' advocates of these two conflicting theories, the-ories, who know so much about his views, will kindly settle which wo are to accept, that wo may know where tho distinguished gentleman stands on so important a principle. |
