In the House the resolution was adopted, requesting the President to organize a commission of five army and navy officers, to examine ! and report to Congress, on or before the iUih of December next, first, on the propriety of removing the Brooklyn Brook-lyn navy yard and selling the land connected con-nected with the yard and marine hospital, hos-pital, and the probable sum to be realized re-alized there from; second, on the propriety pro-priety of constructing a new yard, where the same should be located, and the j estimated cost thereof.
