Show LETTTAYLOfi A Quiet bat Hippy Wedding at the Home of tho Groom At 830 last evening under c subdued light in the parlor of their own home No 62 Second street and in tho presence of a few friends Nellie K Lett aud J Clark Taylor were married The ceremony consisted con-sisted of the shorter service of the Methodist Method-ist Episcopal church and was performed by Rev T C huff In a most impressive and effective manner The friends present were grouped about the handsomely decorated de-corated room and just as the young couple entered the threshold they were met by the minister who pronounced the words that made them man and wife The bride wan becomingly attired in a beautiful xvhitesilk with pearl trimmings and diamond ornaments The wore groom wore the regulation dress suit of black After the ceremony and the heartfelt congratulations of all present a most ole crnnt snntifip ivrQ snrvpri thus hririn anti groom being hostess acid boat nnr The presents wero numerous elegant and useful creditable to tho good taste of tho donors and indicative of the high esteem es-teem and warm affection in which the recipients were held Congratulatory telegrams tele-grams were received from James Taylor and wife parents of the groom Hon Joseph D Taylor M C J B Taylor postmaster post-master and Joseph Anderson and wife A Murray and wife and Dr Moore all of Cambridge Ohio Of the immediate relatives of the bride there wero present Colonel H C Lett father Mrs C D May of Denver and W H Lett and wife brother and sisters The young married people are well known in Salt Lake the bride in addition Ito I-to having a large circle of warm personal friends being well known as the daughter of Col H C Lett one of the foremost of Salt Lakes citizens both In business and political circles The groom was formerly of Cambridge Ohio and prior to locuting in Salt Lake resided re-sided in the south and later in Denver For some years ho has been general agent for the Penn Mutual Life Insurance company com-pany and stands well in the business world Mr and Mrs Taylor will be at home to their many friends after May 15th TUB HERALD extends the warmest H1tLD congratulations con-gratulations |
