Show The Farmers' National Congress. Indianapolis, December 2. The Farmers' National Congress of the United States met here to-day in annual session, eleven States being represented. President Eobert Beverly, Bev-erly, of Virginia, in his address called attention atten-tion to the depression in prices in the various products, to the malicious legislation regarding regard-ing sheep husbandry, and to the neoessity for various legal reforms. He asks for three measures for the benefit of the agricultural interests the creation of a Secretary of Agriculture as a Government Department, the extension of the benefits of the signal service and the suppression of pleuro-pneu-monia among the cattle of the country.
