Show I Constitution I Revision Recommended h 6 by Senate Committee x X- X lf r rt t C Constitution of the k t Associated Students of v Utah Technical College s sat at Salt Lake Preamble We the students of Utah Technical College at Salt Lake believing self- self government to be an inalienable God-given God right in order to promote wholesome wholesome wholesome whole whole- some relationships between the students the administration the faculty and the governing board of Utah Technical College at Salt Lake in keeping with the standards and regulations of the College do hereby establish this tion Article I Name Section One The name of this organization is the Associated Students of Utah Technical College at Salt Lake SL Section Two The official College colors are royal blue and gold Section Three The official College mascot is the Bruin Article II Purpose Section One To provide for the general welfare of SL members Section Two To represent SL members and initiate action on issues arising in the College community Section Three To promote SL member participation at the academic academic academic aca aca- demic and administrative policy-making policy levels of the College Section Four To provide educational cultural social and service activities Section Five To coordinate te SL member organizations and activities Section Six To provide communication and interaction between SL members and the administration faculty and staff of the College Section Seven To express the opinions of SL members Section Eight To express SL member participation and involvement involvement involve involve- ment mentin in community problems and affairs Article III Membership Section One Active membership in this organization is granted to any student student student stu stu- stu- stu dent who has registered at Utah Technical College at Salt Lake and paid r required activity fees Article IV Elections Section One Officers of the Executive Council and Student Senate are to be elected in a general election during Spring quarter for the following year Article IV Elections Section One Executive Council A.
