She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education from Bob Jones University, Greenville, SC. She currently is a teacher at Faith Baptist School Stephen graduated from Chanho Regional High School, Wood Jared, 15, organized the construction of the first base dugout at the same diamond. A thanks to their current scout leaders who assisted with their projects and advancements: Paul Jensen, Bart Cowley and Steve Colby. Brant and Jared are grandsons of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Hallows, of Aurora; and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Nielsen, of Salina, and the late Janet Nielsen. River Junction, Rhode Island, in 1985. This is the main reason behind the Sevier County Junior Teen Council safety seat drive. we are educating and In working with the leaders of tomorrow. What these teens, junior teens, and youngsters learn today , they will take with them into the future. This goes right along with the wearing of seat belts in cars and small children and infants riding in car seats. If a youngster is always put into a car seat or belted when in a car, chances are a lot better that he or she will be a seat belt wearing driver. This is the councils ultimate goal. There is no 4-- H 4-- H 4-- H H way around the fact that car scats and scat belts do save lives. Our junior teens are doing their to part help save lives by sponsoring this car seat drive, cleaning the seats and donating them to the Utah Highway Patrol for distribution. They are asking the public to do their part in this traditional season of giving, to dig out that car seat in the comer of the garage and give it a new home and the potential to save a childs life. They arc also asking that when you travel, BUCKLE UP. You just might save your own life. New Horizons is accepting donations of toys, new and used, to be given to children in need in this area. The goal is to ensure that all children receive Christmas presents regardless of how modest their family income may be. Because of budget cutbacks and a decrease in personnel, New Horizons asks that parents of children who will receive the donations come to the office to pick up the gifts during business hours December 18 to 23.
