The members are enter- performing some Broadway-typ- e . tainment with America and Yankee Doodle. ' , Entertainment Plus Will Entertain at County Fair Jeannine MONROE Chisholm, director of the Chisholm Dance Academy has been working with her students V'Jv in presenting Entertainment Plus, a group of young SSHS students who are keenly interested in furthering their musical and dancing abilities. Mrs. Chisholm has been rehearsing with her students for the July 6 performance to those in the grandstand of the Sevier County Fair. The performance, a variety show is under the direction of Marty Orton. The troupe will perform Neil Diamonds America, as well as a jazz version of Yankee Doodle. Mrs. Chisholm is married to Wayne, local doctor of dental surgery, and. the couple have five youngsters ranging in ages from six to 16, all dancers. She received her higher education in dancing at the U. of U. and has been teaching dancing for the past 19 years. She has had studios in Salt Lake City and in St. Louis, Mo. where she later was the dance department director for Northland Pioneer College in Winslow, Ariz. . Thats what T. Merlin Ashman is doing today. Comissioner Ashman moved to Richfield from Fillmore in 1943. Married. Lyal Nelson of Redmond and the couple have three grown children. Mrs. Ashman is an English teacher at North Sevier High School During his lifetime here in Sevier County, Comissioner Ashman' has served four consecutive terms in the Sevier County Planning and Zoning Department as well as working in die Sevier County Welfare and also on the weed committee. Hebeganhis term of office as comissioner in January 1961. In Redmond he served as town president for two times and has worked years in the 1 am amazed at the interest shown by our SSH students who instead of political circles.
