Show Lapoint Mrs. Mable Jenkins A wedding dance was given in the Ward hall Friday night for Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Mcrk-ley, Mcrk-ley, nee, Rhea Huber. Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Dudley, of Ogden, brought Mrs. Jessis Neu-meyer Neu-meyer home after a week's visit with them. The D. U. P. held its December meeting at the home of Lillie Bigelow, last week. Jack Jenkins and Lyle Taylor, students at the U. S. A. C, spent the holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Taylor. Ramona Harris returned from Price to spend the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Harrison. Margaret Harrison, accompanied accompan-ied Mr. and Mrs. Dclbcrt Horrocks Hor-rocks to Las Vegas, Nev. to spend the holidays with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Sorenscn. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Luck, of Vernal, gave their wedding dance Thursday night in the Ward hall. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Winn, of Springville, spent the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Golden Winn. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Foster, ot Springville, visited Mr. and Mrs. Hayden Foster during the holi-I holi-I days. I Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rasmus-Isen Rasmus-Isen are home from Springville 'to spend the holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rulan Rasmussen. The Rhythm Wranglers opened their dance hall Saturday. Carlyn Harrison, of Vernal, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Harrison, Sunday, and took pictures at the chapel. Lee Walker, manager of K J A M was in Lapoint Sunday to take the part of Santa Clause on the Christmas program sponsored by Mrs. Joseph Norton. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Horrocks have gone to Salt Lake for the winter. Warren Richardson, member of the Uintah Stake, visited Sunday-School Sunday-School last. week. A Christmas program was presented in the form of a recital, with Mrs. Or-ville Or-ville Swain reading. Mrs. Lawrence Abegglen, a former Lapoint resident,, has sold her farm to Darrell Huber. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lowe, i of Logan, are visiting Mrs. Lowe's parents, M,r. and Mrs. Thurmer Rasmussen. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gadd, of Skull Creek, Colo., and Mr. and Mrs. Karren, of Vernal, visited Christmas day with their sister Mrs. Lawrence Lee. Mr. and Mrs. George Bigelow went, lo Price Saturday to visit their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Perry. Sadie Bywater and daughter, !of Myton, spent Christmas with I her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Zack iKump, and other relatives. Word was received Sunday morning that William C. Morchel of Fontana, California, had died. Mr. Marchel was a former Lapoint La-point resident. Mr. and Mrs. Orvel Hullinger and children, of Vernal, Mr. and Mrs. Butch Wilkins and children, of Roosevelt, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Hartle and children, had Christmas dinner with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bigejow. |
