Show r.lOHTVELL Bettie Mower Funeral Held For Cen Johnson Funeral services for Banjamine (Ben) Johnson were held in the Roosevelt chapel, Wednesday afternoon, af-ternoon, with Bishop James E. Hamblin of the Montwel ward officiating. of-ficiating. The speakers were Rulon Anderton, Dan Pace and Levi An-derton. An-derton. Mrs. Erma Anderton sang two solos, -accompanied by Carol Sagers. Beth Brown, Hazel Brown, Enid and Rose Brown sang a quartet. Burial was at the Roosevelt Roose-velt cemetery with Oliver Johnson John-son dedicating the grave. PRESENT PROGRAM The Relief Society was in charge of the Sunday evening program. The Singing Mothers chorus sang two songs, "The Living Liv-ing Prayer,"and "O, My Father." Montana Johnson and Ina Lee Shaw were the speakers. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Fenn had their new daughter blessed at Sacrament meeting Sunday afternoon. after-noon. She was blessed by her father and given the name of Ann Marie. Mr. and Mrs. James E. Larsen made a trip to Salt Lake City on Wednesday to take their daughter, Mrs. James M. Larson, and Ellen for medical attention. James Parry, of Provo, spent the weekend at home with relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Mary Hamblin was taken ' to the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, where she underwent a major ma-jor operation, Friday. Her son, Morley, and daughter, Lora Hul-linger, Hul-linger, stayed with her. She was getting along all right at this writing. writ-ing. Mrs. Hamblin recently celebrated cele-brated her 73rd birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Art Brown made a trip to Salt Lake and Pleasant Grove to visit relatives and friends this week. |
