The two musicians seemed to hit it off right from the start, with Melba playing the chords of modern harmony on the piano, and Pearl beating out the rhythm on her drums. As it turns out Melba and Bunnie recognized each other on sight and remembered they had belonged to the Y.W.C.A. at the same time and modeled in the fashion show together. Bunnie seemed to be just the type of personality they were looking for, and besides that she could also play the guitar. Needless to say, she was accepted into the group and the "Heilind" all-gi- rl combo had become a reality and was now on its way. Since organizing two years ago, the combo group has had all types of experiences playing for weddings, ward dances, programs, television and radio programs, etc. They are a versatile group and play all types of music specializing in close harmony.
