Show DEATH OF A YOUNG MOTHER mrs hildora larsen roberts died at tle the homo home of mrs ether either E ther larsen I 1 monday november 1 at I 1 p m mrs roberts had been seriously ill at her former homo home for about three weeks after being sent here from salt lake to have rest and quiet pneumonia developed soon after her arrival at monroe however after which she was too tod weak to rally but lingered on oil until death claimed her mrs roberts was born in norway january 21 and was as brought here when but a child of 7 years by brother andrew larsen now deceased then on a mission in that country she was taren taken into the home of mr and mrs andrew larsen as an all adopted daughter where she remained until her marriage to fred roberts about thirteen years ago mr and mrs roberts resided in salt lake most of the time in tho the past eight years where mrs roberts has been ill for tho the last two years she is survived by her husband three boys and one girl ranging from 12 to 3 years of age the funeral was held at the north ward church thursday afternoon at 2 bishop walter lundgreen presiding the choir sang 0 my father brother bent larsen gave the opening prayer tho the choir then rendered the song abide with me john A johnson addressed add essed the audience for a short time speaking of their missionary experiences lie he being on a mission in ili norv norway ay at the timo time bi birther other andrew larsen carne came home and brought little hildora HS ldora to this country the choir rendered the anthem 1 I know that my redeemer lives brother heber swindle talked encouragingly to the husband and children on a previous lire life and in hat an all honor to ill fill the mission of motherhood as mrs roberts had dono done bishopp lundgreen dwelt on the promises made to those who live upright lives and gave sympathy to the husband and children in behalf of the friends and relatives in a very sympathetic manner also said mr roberts wished to thank all those who had assisted before and after afier the death of the departed mother either in acts or sympathy the choir sang sweet rest closing prayer by brother charles bohman after which those who could repaired to the cemetery where burial took place I 1 |
