Park Zion National Park, Utah, April After completing an improvement program at Zion Lodge in which $151,000 was expended, crews of the Union Pacific' System moved to Bryce Canyon National Park and will start ' a $125,000 building program at that place, it was stated at the office of the Superintendent e of Canyon National Park. The company has just completed five four-rooDeLuxe cottages which include a private bath for each r.oorn. Water is kept hot by automatic ' electric water heaters. One of the major construction items was the installation of two 150,000 gallon water storage tanks, and building of a six inch cast iron supply line for supplying the lodge. In addition there were many minor improvements that will add greatly to the comfort of park visitors in the future. now The construction program starting at Bryce Canyon calls for an expenditure of $125,000 and will include the same addition to the facilities as in Zion Park, extension of the water system, addition to the power- - house, and many minor improvements. Work on these facilities will be rushed in order that the crews may be available for work on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon as soon as the snow is cleared froip the road. Roads to Zion and Bryce Canyon are now open. However, the only way to reach Bryce from Zion is via the Pipe Springs Desert, as the road over Cedar Mountain Via Cedar Breaks is still buried under snow in the higher elevations. 26 to-da- y, Zion-Bryc- m OF RANDOLPH there is immediate and pressing need of raising funds for the purpose of acquiring water rights and constructing and installing waterworks system and securing a sufficient water supply for the purpose of supplying said Town of Randolph with water and distributing such water to the inhabitants thereof, which said water system and works shall be owned and controlled by said municipality, NOW THEREFORE, NOTICE is hereby given that on Saturday the 25th day of May, A.
