Show MAf 10, 1987 Businesswomen Family dinner slate meeting fetes Kneedy on 92nd date A family birthday dinner honored John L. Kneedy of 191 N. Main, Kaysville on his 92nd birthday anniversary on Feb. 28. It was held at his home, hosted by his children and grandchildren. Mr. Kneedy has five children, 16 grandchildren and 21 greatgrandchildren. The children are Mrs. Jim (Edith) McLaughlin, Re- seda, Calif.; Mrs. Kenneth (Loriene) Hansen, Tabonia; Larry L. Kneedy, Kaysville; Mrs. Alan (MaryBell) Jensen, Farmington and Mrs. Paul (Sara Joan) Moss, Fruit Heights. A dinner on Sunday, Feb. 29 was held in West Valley City at the home of a grandson, Gary, to further honor Mr. Kneedy. Mr. Kneedy will be remembered as the owner and operator of Davis County Cold Storage Plant for many years. He has been active in the community and his church. He organized and was president of The Lakeview Business and Professional Womens Club will meet on Thursday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Country Garden Restaurant in Clearfield for their monthly dinner meeting. Guest speaker will be Sue Marie Young of Richfield who is legislative chairman for the Utah Federation of BPW organizations. She will speak on state and national issues that are of special importance to women. Also on the program will be Eileen Pignataro who will represent Lakeview as their Young Career Woman for the coming year. Garden class set ELDER WRIGHT A Gardening for Nutrition class is being offered again this year at the USU Extension Service Horticultural Farm in Farmington. The class is being sponsored by the n Davis County Department of Services and is geared toward : Jacobs competes Shauna Jacobs, the daughter of Gerald and Mary Ann Jacobs, is a senior at Layton High School. She is an officer of the National Honor Society and a member of the Layton LDS Seminary Council. Shaunas main hobby is music. She plays the piano, organ, trombone, flute and drums. She played the trombone with the Band for two years and will be a returning member of the Lagoon Showband this spring. Shes been an active member of the marching pep, symphonic and jazz bands of her school. She has been the piano accompanist for many soloists and musical productions in her church, school and community. She is also the piano accompanist for the high school musical, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. She will be attending Ricks Col-- . lege in the fall. Paul graduated from Davis High School in 1986 with high honors and attended fall semester at BYU as a Trustees Scholar. Paul has served in his Deacons, Teachers and Priests quorum presidencies, as well as in various local, district and council scouting positions. He has earned his Eagle Scout and Duty to God awards. Paul also served his senior year as a member of the Kaysville Seminary Council. Elder King enters the MTC on March 18.
