Show Shall The P. G. II. S. Alumni Organization Gontinuo Is there a sufficient number of the p o. H. S. Alumni members, who nave enough pep and patriotism, to instify the continuation of an organ- ization which should, by this time, Uave became a tradition? Do the graduates of the Pleasant Grove High School of the last two or three years appreciate the fact that wearing the ! block G graduating pin entitles them to membership in the Alumni. Organization? Organ-ization? Have the members of the earlier classes became po engrosssed in their own personal affairs that they have no desire to come to the Annual Alumni Banquet and meet their old classmates and become acquainted ac-quainted with the recent members? Should the executive committee be expected to arrange for a , social gathering and then, in addition to EPndinft out personal invitations, beg the members to come to their own party? Think it over. At its inception tbe Alumni Organization Or-ganization had as its chief purpose the perpetuation of the spirit of good fellowship among its members, the sponsoring of worthy projects, and the building up of an acceptable background for the Alma Mater. What are we doing? Have you paid your dollar on the last project un- dertaken? The party planned for December 31, had to be postponed even after the savory fumes of the turkey had begun to permSate the halls. Out of a membership of five-hundred (500) people, twenty-five were thoughtful enough, or perhaps I should say interested in-terested enough, to telephone for reservations. Physical law and ethical custom require that a meal must be cooked before it can be eat- en. One discouragement, however, does not mean failure. Watch for the date. We are bound and determined to have our annual reunion. "We shall welcome any comment or criticism which any member may desire to make. We also welcome TiEreestions. If you are willing and anxious to support and sustain the organization let your officers know it. Executive Committee. Estelle Fenton, President. |
