Show Tax Payments Show Increase Utah county has collected a greater portion of the taxes for 1929 than was collected during the same period of time in 1928, according to County Treasurer John C. Taylor. I Df the $1,806,918.48 to be collected by the county during the present year, $1,659,556.64 has already been received. re-ceived. Of the remaining $147,361.84 a greater portion of this amount will be deducted as relief. During 1928 the total amount received from sales was $97,962.30; this is a great deal more than will be received from sales during 1929, as there is only about $30,000 remaining to be paid. Taxpayers will be given until un-til January 10, 1930, to settle their taxes, after that date their property proper-ty will be sold. According to the report of Treasurer Treas-urer Taylor, the assessed valuation of the county has increased during the present year so much that there will be an increase of almost $162,-000 $162,-000 to be received during 1929. o- |
