Show At the time of her death she was county president of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and was captain of the Takawana camp of that organization. or-ganization. Left to mourn her departure are her husband, five daughters, Mrs. Meda Walker and Mrs. Elizabeth Noel, both of Salt Lake City; and Lola, Carol Ray and Marva Walker of Vernal; five sons, Frank Walker of Provo, John L. Walker, Long Beach, Cal., Howard G. Walker, Walk-er, Fort Lewis, Wash., Ralph O. and Don Walker of Vernal. Other survivors include one brather, James Richardson of Vernal and two sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Kate Ash of Pleasant Grove and Mrs. Annie Kirk of Magna,' and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 1, at 2 p. m. in the Vernal first wadr LDS church. Former Pleasant Grove Resident Dies In Vernal Relatives and friends here we're shocked and grieved to hear of the death of Rose Richardson Walker at her home in Vernal of a heart attack. Mrs. Walker was born at Center Creek, Uintah county, April 23, 1885, to Wm. and Jane Muir Richardson. She spent her childhood there, and when a young woman, moved with her parents to Pleasant Grove, where she resided for some years. On December 16, 1908, she married mar-ried George F. Walker in the Salt Lake LDS temple, and they made their home here until 1919 when they moved to Uintah county. Mrs. Walker held many positions in church circles and was a favored vocalist at church, funerals and social gatherings. |
