Show Death Claims Lifetime Resident Mrs. Annie Brown Snider, age 72, died at her home here Monday at 7 p. m. following a lingering illness. Mrs. Snider suffered a broken leg during the past winter, never fully recovering. She is the widow of the late John H. Snider. Born in American Fork November 24, 1863, she was the daughter of Benjamin Pierce and Rebecca Webb iBiown. She took an active part in (the church organizations all of her life and for many years worked on the Old Folks' Committee of the First ward. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Vance, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lulu Laursen and Mrs. Marjorie Laycoclc, American Fork, and Mrs. Mabel Powell Levan; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Clayton and Mrs. Mary Ellerbeck, Salt Lake City; 13 grandchildren grand-children and eight great grandchildren, grandchil-dren, j. j Funeral services were conducted Thursday in the American Fork First ward chapel, Bishop T. A. Greenwood officiating. The chapel was filled with friends and neighbors who feel the loss of a true uicuu i good woman. President Clifford E. Young, Bishop Greenwood and David Da-vid H Clayton of Salt Lake City, were the speakers. Prayer was offered of-fered by Counselor Samuel Grant. Musical numbers were as follows: "That Wonderful Mother of Mine," Darrell Wanlass; "Resignation," Mrs Ora Chipman; "Perfect Day, Mrs Mildred Mecham; and "Sometime, "Some-time, Somewhere" a duet by Mrs. Chipman and Moral Steele. Interment was made m the City cemetery where the grave was dedicated dedi-cated by Roy Greenwood. |
