Show Funeral Services Held on Monday For Julie West Impressive funeral services for Julie West, 5, were held Monday, May 6 at 11 a.m. in the Timpanogos Stake House, under the direction of Wilford M. Gurr, counselor in the Grove Ward bishopric. The little girl, a daughter of Stanley R. and Donna Pedersen West, died May 2 in a Salt Lake City hospital of leukemia. Speakers, who paid tribute to the short, sweet life of the child were Leon Walker and Wesley G. Boyle. Counselor Gurr also spoke words of solace and comfort. com-fort. A life sketch was read by Louise W. Lindsey. A choral selection, "I Am a Child of God," was sung by Christine, Melodie and Julie Ann Watts, who also sang "I Wonder When He Comes A-gain." A-gain." Prelude and postlude organ or-gan music was played by Dorothy Dor-othy Morehead. Family prayer was led by Milton L. West, Leland L. Rockwell Rock-well offered the invocation and benediction was pronounced by Ammon J. Lindsey. Pallbearers were Andy K. Peterson, Gerry M. West and Dennis L. and Larry R. Rockwell. Rock-well. Honorary pallbearers were Maurice K. West, Mark Thomson and Sam Taylor. Flowers were arranged and cared for by the Grove Ward Relief Society. Dedication of the grave in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery Ceme-tery was by Howard Warnick. Julie Wset was born Dec. 30, 1962 in American Fork, and attended at-tended the LDS Church. Survivors include her parents, par-ents, brothers, sisters, Steve, Terry, Kathy, Suzanne, all of Pleasant Grove; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Loren West, PI.
