Show u American Fork Marriages An attractively arranged wedding shower was tendered Miss Marjorie Wilcken at the home of Miss Maxine Taylor Wednesday evening of last week. Miss Wilcken was presented with a set of crystal dishes by her friends and former students at the local high school where she taught last year. Guests at the shower were, Virginia Shelley, Irene Jones, Donna Lue Davis, Verda Miller, Mary Walton, Maxine Taylor, Madeline Made-line Robinson, Nan Chipman, Bar-, hnra. Pett. Zola Grant, Evelyn Peck, LaRee Whitby, Margaret Dunkley, Beth Ellison, Helen Smith, Fem Marsh, Jean Parker, Lucille Muir, Thersa Mitchell, Jean Holmstead, Lucille Bird, Mildred Greenwood, Dorothy Greenwood and Miss Myrtle Myr-tle Henderson. Miss Wilcken became the bride oi Jackson Sterling Moore at a lovely wedding in the First Presbyterian Church' in Salt Lake on Saturday, July 25th. Those attending the wedding as guests of the bride were Misses Shelley, Jones, Davis, Miller, Walton, Taylor, Robinson, Chipman, Grant, Dunkley, Parker and Mitchell. Mitch-ell. Also Phil Jensen, R Gardner, Keith Miller and Guy Richards. The young couple will make their home in Torrenoe, California. Mrs. George L. Mayne announce the marriage of her daughter, Erna, to Mr. J. Elmer Oleson, son of Mrs. O. L. Berg of Enumclaw, Washington. Washing-ton. The marriage took place June 21, at Gypsum, Colorado. July 8th a shivaree with weenies and marshmallow roasting followed by dancing was enjoyed by one hundred relatives and friends. On Julv 16, a miscellaneous shower in honor of Mrs. Oleson was given by Mrs. Bessie White, Mrs. Agnes Slaughter and Miss Minnie Lundgen of Gypsum, Colo. The bride received re-ceived many beautiful and useful gifts. Among the guests attending were, Mrs. Eliza Bair and daughter, Leila Mrs. Lulu Dunsdon and daughter, Clara, Mrs. Rex Mayne, Mrs. George L. Mayne and daughter, Lucille. |
