Show Sue Ann Maxfield to recite marriage vows with Douglas Jex in temple I ' . 1 t .:. .: 4 . ' i : ... ; . : Sue Ann Maxfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant A. Maxfield, will marry Douglas G. Jex, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald D. Jex on Aug. 14 in the Provo LDS Temple. A reception in their honor will be held the same day from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the home of the bride's sister, Janet Wells, 515 W. 2600 North, Pleasant Grove. In case of bad weather the reception will be held at 3986 W. 800 North in Pleasant Grove. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and LDS Seminary, where she was active in A Cappella Choir, cheerleading and pep club. She was named among "Who's Who Among High School Students in America." She has been employed with the Wasatch Bank for 10 years. She is currently secretary and presidentelect president-elect of the Pleasant Grove-Lindon area Chamber of Commerce. The prospective groom graduated from Mountain View High School, where he was active in soccer and football. He served an LDS mission to the California San Bernardino Mission and is now attending Utah Valley Community College, where he is studying to become a nurse. Attending the bride will be her sister, Janet Wells, Vickey Cook, Shellie Guernsey, Rakell and Kammie Maxfield, Jennifer and Kristy Wells, Jennifer Benson and Brittney Guernsey. Best man will be Steve Long, with Russell Thompson as honorary best man. Showers were given by Kimberly Robinson, Michelle Mallinson, Marilyn, Sharon and Debbie Maxfield, Janet Wells, Patsy and LeAnn Jex and Sue Ann Whitting. The couple will live in Orem. Douglas G.
