Show Funeral Services Conducted For Pearl Freeman Impressive funeral rites were conducted Friday Feb. 19, for Pearl Nicholes Freeman, wife of Milton Freeman, who died on Feb. 15 at her home in Manila. The service was held in Manila ward LDS chapel at 1 p.m. with Bishop Boyd Fugal in charge. Invocation was offered by Carl Winters and was followed by a vocal solo, "I Know That My Redeemer Re-deemer Lives," by Mrs. E. Ray Brown, accompanied by Mrs. Hal Haycock. Speakers who paid tribute to the memory of the departed and spoke words of faith and of gospel truths were Eugene Nicholes and A. P. Warnick. Their talks were interspersed inter-spersed by a vocal solo "In My Father's House are Many Mansions," Mans-ions," by Rulon Nicholes. Bishop Fugal spoke ' words of sympathy and . appreciation and George Monson and Ivan Monson sang the closing- nomber, "Softly and Tenderly, Jesus Is Calling." They were accompanied by Mrs. Haycock who also played prelude and postlude organ music. Benediction was pronounced by William Freeman. Burial directed by Olpin Mortuary Mortu-ary was made in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery where the dedicatorial prayer was offered by Roy Lindsey. Pallbearers, all close relatives were Ross and Terry Nicholes, Douglas and Vern Nicholes, Nich-oles, Leon Smith and Ralph Smith. Flowers were cared for and arranged ar-ranged by Manila ward Relief Society, So-ciety, who also prepared lunch at the William Freeman home. |
