Walker. Mr. Penrod was born April 9, 1871, in Provo, a son of Abraham and Ellen Durfee Penrod and moved mov-ed to Wallsburg with his parents when he was 2 years old. On Oct. 26, 1892, has was married mar-ried to Isabel Kerby in Manti Temple. Tem-ple. The lived in Wallsburg until I 1916 when they moved to Declo, Idaho. Mrs. Penrod died July 22, 1922. He was married to Sarah Melissa Ford Sept. 30, 1925 in the Salt Lake Temple. They moved to Pleasant Grove in 1937 where he has since lived. She died Nov. 1943. He was married to Clara May Farley Meacham in the Salt Lake Temple, Sept 26, 1944. At the time of his death he was a setventy in the Second ward. He filled a mission to the Southern States from 1905 to 1907 and again in 1921. He went to California in the same year to do missionary work. He filled two stake missions in Cassia Stake, Idaho, in 1927 and 1937. He filled a stake nWjsion in Timpanogos stake in 1940 and 1941. Survivors include his widow; two sons and three daughters, Francis and Paul D. Penrdd, Delco; Mrs. MaDella P. Kelly, Los Angeles; Miss Mebal Penrod, Long Beach, and Mrs. Louise' D. Coogan, of Philadelphia; two brothers and two sisters: Elmer Penrod, Burley, Ida. Mrs. Ada Gardner, Wallsburg, De-los De-los Penrod, American Fork and Mrs. Eva Sabin, Redlands, Califor. ten grandchildren and seven great-grand great-grand children. Friends may call at the family home, 202 West, Third North St. Friday from 11 a. m. to time of services. Burial will be in Walls- j burg cemetery. |
