Show Former Resident Dies In Salt Lake Hospital Mrs. Lorna Jane Warburton, 48 died in a Salt Lake hospital Tuesday Tues-day at 4:30 p.m. after a long illness. ill-ness. She was county chairman for the Ladies' Democratic Committee and was very active in work of the Tooele Business and Professional Profess-ional Women's Club. During World War II she served as matron at the Bachelor Officers Quarters at Tooele Ordinance Depot. She ws born in Pleasant Grove, May 12, 1900, a daughter of Joseph and Letitia Wright Long. She was married to Harold S. Warburton, and was active as a worker in the Tooel.' Fifth ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Surviving are her husband; her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Hansen; two sons, G. Stewart and Donald L. Warburton; five brothers and three sisters, Lawrence and Dick Long, Salt Lake City; Glen Long, Bingham canyon, Carl Long, Magna, Bill Long, San Jose, Calif.; Mrs. Amanda Am-anda Sheers, Magna; Mrs. Theresa Pendleton, Magna and Mrs. Ruth Golden, San Jose; one step-brother and one step-sister, James Hansen, Redondo Beach, California and Mrs. Myrtle Long, Magna; also two! grandchildren. j |
