Show FUNERAL SERVICES CONDUCTED FOR LUENNA HUNT HOLDAWAY Touching and impressive funeral services were conducted Friday, May 10 for Luenna Hunt Hold-away. Hold-away. The Second Ward Chapel was filled to capacity with relatives and friends who came from many points in Utah and Nevada to pay respect to the memory of the young woman and express sympathy for her. family. The service began at two o'clock with Bishop's Councilor Earl A. Beck in cHm'SC. The opening number was In the Garden, sung by Allen Brothers .quartette, Kirby, Taylor, Leo and Elwood Allen. They were accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Taylor Allen. Invocation was offered by Ezra Bunker of Salt Lake City. First speaker was Leon Hend-slrom, Hend-slrom, a very close friend of Mr. and Mrs. Holdaway, while both young men were stationed at Camp Kearney. Pie chose as his theme Gods Purpose in bringing about the Eternal Life of Man. Other speakers who paid tribute to Mrs. Holdaway and her family and spoke words of faith and encouragement en-couragement were, Junius A. West, former bishop of First Ward, and William C. Smith, Principal of the L. D. S. Seminary. Musical numbers interspersing the speakers were a vocal solo Face to Face, by Howard Anderson, accompanied by Mrs. Allen, and a vocal duet; Beautiful Sunset, by Mrs. Chester Graff r After closing remarks of appreciation apprec-iation and sympathy by Mr. Beck, the male quartette sang the closing number, Until the Dawn, and Bishop Bis-hop PJeed O. Walker pronounced the benediction. Internment, directed by Olpin Brothers, was made in the Provo City Burial Park, wheije Jacob Hunt gave the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers, members of the Second Wlard Elders Quorum, included Wesley Jarvis, Lawrence Rawlings, Earl Mathews, Allen Robinson. Lewis Wells and J. Howard Nelson. Among the out of town relatives and friends who attended the funeral fun-eral of Luenna Hunt Holdaway on Friday were Mr. and Mrs. Glen Waite of Bunkerville, Nevada; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dix.
