Show Former Resident Paid Respect At Funeral Service Funeral services for Heber A. Harrington Har-rington were conducted Saturday afternoon in the Second L. D. S. ward chapel. Mr. Harrington died Tuesday of last week at his home in San Fernando, California. Mr. Harrington was born here March 17, 1860, a son of Bishop Leonard Harrington and Harriet Noon Harrington. He attended the schools here, and later studied at Brigham Young academy and the University of Utah. He engaged in school teaching for a time, and later engaged in the mercantile business in Utah and Idaho. He had lived in California for ten years. Speakers at the services were Bishop Floyd Kelly of Shelley, Idaho, who read a letter of appreciation of Mr. Harrington, from his bishop in San Fernando; James T. Gardner, Stephen L. Chipman, and Bishop Joseph H. Storrs. W. S. Chipman offered the invocation, and T. S. Pri-day Pri-day the benediction. The dedicatory prayer at the graveside was offered by a brother, Daniel Harrington, of Salt Lake City. Numbers were given by a mixed quartet, Kenneth Robinson, and Mrs. Clifford E. Young. Mr. Harrington is survived by his widow, Mary Kelly Harrington, whom he married in 1892; two brothers, Leonard Harrington of American Fork and Daniel Harrington Har-rington of Salt Lake City; a sister, Mrs. Mary Duncan of American Fork, and eight sons and daughters: Heber A. Harrington, San Jose; Mrs. Aurora Terry, Glendale; Mrs. Daphne Price, Ventura; Mrs. Winnie Newton and Mrs. Natalie Peay, San Fernando, and Ruel, LeRoy and Jack Harrington of Salt Lake City. o |
