The marriage was solemnized solem-nized in the Sail Lake I -US Temple in 17. lie died Oct. 22, She was an active member of the LDS Church, American Fork 12th Ward, serving in various callings. She was a social worker for the Uivision of Family Services for 29 years and had worked as the executive secretary to the director, medical clerk Whitlock, Provo; Mrs. Woody (Nila) Shannon, Mrs. Sharyn Wareham, both of Orem; 15 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; five sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Clark (Ardith) Haynes, Mrs. Don (Carma) Uavidson, Blaine Olsen, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Morris (Sharlene) Mower, California: Mrs. Gordon (Pamela) Bailey, Vernal; Mrs. Gary (Sandra) Hendry, Orem. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Uec. 20, at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 12th Ward, 680 E. 300 North, where friends may call one hour prior to services. ser-vices. He was born April 20, HKK), a son of Norman A. and Marv Agnes Willis Brimhall in Tavlor, Ariz. He married Ida Hone Aug. 29, 192:i in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Dec. 7, 1980. He was an educator, inventor, writer and musician. He worked for the Alpine School District for 45 years, teaching music, Spanish and language arts. He earned the Palmer Certificate of Spencerian Penmanship. Pen-manship. He lived in Pleasant Grove for over :so years before moving to Provo in 1961. He was a member of the Emeritus Club at BYU, the Pieasant Grove Lions Club, the Eldredge Center Senior Citizens, and a board I, & .1 member of the Cordell Anderson Foundation for Indian Development in Guatemala. He invented in-vented the Dial-A-Chord for the guitar. He wrote prose and poetry and entertained with song and the accordian. He was also a member of the Mendelssohn Chorus. He spoke fluent Spanish and loved gardening. He was an active high priest in the LDS Church. He had served in the high priest group leadership and was a ward organist and chorister. Survivors include four sons and two : daughters: Willis H. Brimhall, Covered Bridge, Spanish Fork; James W. Brimhall, s Salt Lake City ; Norman A. Brimhall, Gratton, jMa F. Eugene 1 Brimhall, Orem; Louise IE. Hansen, Terre 1 Haute, Ind.; Deanna B. Binks, Provo. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren grand-children and 23 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. She was a student at American Fork High School and a graduate of the Barbizon College of Modeling and had modeled for fashion shows. She was a member of St. Peter's Parish in American Fork. He married Sytha West Nov. 7, 1925. The marriage was later solemnized sol-emnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He attended schools in Pleasant Grove (Manila), graduating from Pleasant Grove High School and BYU in 1927. He began a teaching career in the Alpine School District in the secondary schools. He served as principal princi-pal of Pleasant Grove Junior High for nine years. He was active in the Alpine Education Association, serving as Council and was a charter char-ter member of the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove Lions Club. He is survived by his wife, Pleasant Grove; two daughters: Mrs. Val (Lynnel) Stone, Burn-ingham, Burn-ingham, Ala.; Renee Taylor, Orleans, Neb.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother and a sister: Eldon Johnson, Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove; Christie Studstrup, Reno, Nev. Goldie May DeBolt, 70, formerly of Lehi, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 1989, at her home in Ogden of a stroke. She was born Nov. 5, 1919, in Mt. Clare, W.V., a daughter of John and Lottie Collins Patterson. Pat-terson. She married Raymond E. DeBolt Sr., Nov. 4, 1939, in Moundsville, W.V. He died Aug. 18, 1987. She was reared and educated in West Virginia Vir-ginia and Pennsylvania, moving to Lehi in 1948. She moved to Ogden in July 1986. Mrs. DeBolt enjoyed doing things for other people.
