Show Funeral Services Held for Two Crash Victims Funeral services for George Almon Lux, 26, of Lehi and Joseph F. Hoover, 26 of Pleasant Grove were held this past week. The two young men were killed in an airplane crash last Friday morning, aiso killed in ttu cash were D. Brent Bird, 35, of Salt Lake City and Gene Wilson, 41, of Springville. The plane crashed in the Uinta primitive area. George Almon Lux was Dorn Aug. 1, 1949 in Tooele, a son of Thomas John and Ida Lovina Williams Lux. He married Burdette Jensen on July 18, 1969 in Lehi. Mrs. Jensen was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Jensen of Pleasant Grove. After their marriage the couple lived for a time in Orem and Salt Lake City, then returned to Lehi the first of this year. He was employed at the warehouse of Samon Electric Co. in Salt Lake City. Mr. Lux enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and motorcycling. motor-cycling. He was member of the LDS Church, in the Lehi 5th Ward. Surviving are his widow and two small sons, Ryan G. and Adam Michael Lux, all of Lehi; his parents of Springville; eleven brothers and sisters. Joseph F. Hoover was born Nov. 7, 1948 in Provo, a son of Joseph R. and Vaudys For-sgren For-sgren Hoover. He married Diane Anderson May 5, 1967 in Orem. He received his education in Orem , graduating from Orem High School. He and his wife lived in Orem for six years before moving to Pleasant Grove. He worked for Pittsburgh-Des Pittsburgh-Des Moine Steel Co. and Boyer Automotive prior to working for Samon's in Bountiful where lie had worked for the past 18 months. He was a member of the LDS Church, in the Pleasant Grove Sixth Ward. Survivors include his widow, two sons and one daughter, Russell J., Dustin S. and Natalie D., Hoover, all of .Pleasant Grove; father and j stepmother, Orem; mother, Mesa, Ariz.; grandparents, I Mrs. Lillian T. Hoover, Provo I Canyon, Mr. and Mrs. Jack I Forsgren, Howsell, Box Elder County, and one sister, Mrs. ' Norman (Connie Marie) Farnsworth, Orem. |
