Show Funeral Services Held Monday for Gwen P. Aston Funeral services for Gwen Perry Aston, 40, were held on Monday, March 13, in the Lin-don Lin-don Ward Chapel, under the direction di-rection of Alan Marchbanks, counselor in the Second Ward bishopric. Mrs. Aston died Friday Fri-day at her home in Lindon of accidental asphyxiation. Speakers at the services were Arvil Bird and Bishop Nyle T. Harris. Musical numbers were sung Musical numbers sung were "In the Garden" by Donna Walters; Wal-ters; "Somewhere My Love" by Wilma Taylor, both accompanied accom-panied by LaDean Gillman, and "I'll Walk With God" by Lynn Tolman, accompanied by Lu Hendricksen. by Donna Walters, and Wilma both accompanied by LaDean Gillman, and by Lynn Tolman, accompanied by Lu Hendrich-sen. Hendrich-sen. Family prayer was given by Philip Perry, invocation pronounced pro-nounced by Ralph Blanchard, and benediction by Joseph Swenson. Dedication of the grave in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery was given by George Clark. Pallbearers were Blaine Aston, As-ton, Theo Aston, Maurice Aston, As-ton, Horace Aston, Ray Benson Ben-son and Leland Millar. Flowers were cared for and arrange dby the Lindon Second Sec-ond Ward Relief Society. Mrs. Aston was born Dec. 24, 1931 in Provo to Philip Shirl and Fanny Elnora Ewell Perry. She married Don Aston Dec. 10, 1951 in Salt Lake City. She attended Provo schools. graduating from Provo High School. She was a member of the LDS Church, and taught in the Primary. Survivors include her husband, hus-band, son and daughter, Shir-leen Shir-leen and Douglas, all of Lindon; Lin-don; her parents, Provo; brothers, broth-ers, Philip A. Perry, Salt Lake City; Alan E. Perry, Pleasant Grove. |
