Show Funeral Services Held Saturday for Sharon Brittain Funeral services for Sharon Louise Brittain, 25, short time resident of Lindon, were held Saturday, Aug. 26 at 11 a.m. in the Wheeler Mortuary, Spring-vlile. Spring-vlile. Burial was in the Eureka City Cemetery. Mrs. Brittain was killed in an automobile - semi-truck trailer accident at West Canyon Road, Orem, at about 1:40 a.m., Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Aug. 20. Also killed in the same accident acci-dent was Lorna J. Anderson, 30, Orem. Severely injured was Patricia Harward, Orem and injured slightly was Linda Cobbley, Cob-bley, 23, also of Orem. Investigating officers said that a convertible driven by Mrs. Brittain collided with and . passed under a semi-truck and trailer driven by Albert L. Nielsen, Niel-sen, 32, of Lehi. Mrs. Cobbley escaped serious injury' by throwing herself to the front floor boards of the convertible before it crashed under the huge trailer. Mrs. Brittain was born Dec. 7, 1943, in Eureka, to Alma and Cynthia Buckley Hawkins. She married Larry Ray Brittain, April 1, 1960, in Heber. She was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include her husband, son, daughter, Stacey R., Pamela Pam-ela Rae; sisters, Mrs. Arnold (Iris) Swenson, Mrs. Frank (Irene) Madsen, both Payson; Mrs. Marvin (Shirley) Peterson, Peter-son, Mapleton. |
