Show I Mrs. Rowley To Be Buried Here Today Word was received by relatives here Monday of the death in Gar-laud Gar-laud that afternoon of Mrs. Lydia Morse Rowley, 74, for many years' a resident of this city. Mrs. Rowley died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Hanson. The deceased was bom in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Y- Morse. On March 13, 1879, she was united in marriage to Joseph Rowley in the St- George temple and they made their home here for a number of years, later moving to Murtaugh, Idaho, where she lived until the death of her husband, hus-band, which occurred here twelve years ago. Mrs. Rowley was a faithful Lat-terday Lat-terday Saint and took an active part in church and community af-f,i af-f,i Krd-.i-. here a.nd in Idaho. She is survived by nine sons aard daugh-1 ters. Mrs. Frank Hansen, Garland; Prank Rowley and Mrs. Thomas Carroll, Twin Falls, Idaho; Mrs- C. E. Cookerley, San Francisco; Mrs- F. T. Carson, Homedale, Idaho; Mrs. Moroni Peck, Monroe; Mario M. Rowley, Murtaugh, Idaho, and Jede-dia-h Rowley, Hensen, Idaho. Three brothers also survive: Jed Morse of American Fork; Frank Morse, St. George, and John Morse, Twin Falls, Idaho, also 36 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a- m- today (Friday) in the Garland ward chapel, after which the remains re-mains will be brought to American Fork and interment will be made in the city cemetery following short services at 4 p. m. |
