Show j Ten Years Ago j ! Now I (Taken from files of Oct. 18, 1924) The Pleasant Grove Canning Co. will complete, the yearly run on tomatoes to-matoes and cateup next Saturday. Although the season has been a disappointment to both the canning company and farmers, the year's I pack has been put up in excellent shape. Only about 30 per cent of the orders received can be filled, however. how-ever. Ten Years Ago Now The harvesting of the apple crop is on in full swing and already fifteen fif-teen carloads of Jonathans have been shipped by the Pleasant Grove Marketing Mar-keting association. Forty fruit growers grow-ers of the north end of Utah county are shipping their apples thru the association which expects to ship between be-tween thirty and forty carloads this season. Ten Years Ago Now The Coolidge-Dawes caravan stopped stop-ped for a short time in Pleasant Grove Tuesday. Twelve fancy packed pack-ed boxes of Jonathan apples were presented to the visitors by the Chamber of Commerce.
