Show Resident Fetes 80th Birthday At Family Party Mrs. Margaret Lockheart Wilson, Pleasant Grove resident for 49 years, celebrated her eightieth birthday Sunday, with a family dinner at her home in Pleasant Grove. Six of her eight children with their families were present at the dinner. Mrs Wilson was born in Hamil- ton, Scotland, October 29, 1859, a daughterof Daniel and Margaret Glenn Lockheart. Her father came to Utah in 1868 as an L. D. S. convert, con-vert, settling in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Lockheart and children came to Utah in 1872. Margaret Lockheart was married to Spears Wilson on December 26, 1876, in Evanston, Wyoming. Mr. Wilson died on October 8, 1924. She has been an active L. D. S. church worker, having been a Relief Re-lief society teacher for approximately approximate-ly 40 years. She was the mother of 13 children and reared one grandchild Dell Phillips. Five children died after they were past 18 years of age. The children present were Mrs. Margaret W. Shoell, Mrs. Nettie W. Wadley of Pleasant Grove, Mrs. May Carlson of Charleston, Mrs. Irene Peary, Thomas Wilson and Angus Wilson of Garfield, Roy Wilson of Long Beach, California, and Mrs. Ethel Lawson of Casper, Wyoming, were not present. Thirty-six of her 40 grandchildren and all of her 38 great-grandchildren were present at the celebration. o |
