Emma seldom missed, she always went through snow, rain, . mud and whatever the handicap. She has served as a Counselor and Work Director in Relief Society; as First Counselor to Sister Mary Kirkman, in Primary; and again as her First Counselor in Religion Classes; she also was a Sunday School teacher. Perhaps many of her dependability traits were fashioned as a young girl who had to rear her mothers new born baby, her mother dying in childbirth. Many times she use to catch fish with bare hands to stretch the food fare where they lived in Loa, Utah. This crowning young mother achivement her to later rear her own seven children and surely the old adage really is true her adversity became her character stepping stones to serve so long and faithfully. helped mr4 P tv . k:V" r,) c .v I S |
