Show HUSBAND OF FORMER PAROWAN LADY PASSES reuben gillies 49 of beaver and husband of mable hyatt gillies former resident of this city died at his home there early wednesday morning from a heart attack ile he had been after wood the day before and on returning went down town to vote staying s for awhile to get the election returns arriving home shortly after midnight he complained of severe pains in his chest and arms his wife summoned the doctor but he got there too late to save the stricken man funeral ser services vicos were held for him saturday afternoon in the beaw beaver r east ward chapel with bishop clyde in charge mr gillies has been active jn n beaver city affairs and served as city marshal there for 4 years he was a son of mr and mrs robert J gillies who with his wife four children and seven brothers and sisters survive him he married mabel hyatt of this city here n 1912 after which he engaged in farming and stock raising in his home town |
