Orem police are saying that a 13-year-old girl was raped twice over the past few months at the University Mall. Douglas Fillmore, 19, of Spring-ville Spring-ville was arrested on two charges of child rape at 6 p.m. March 28. Orem police Lt. Doug Edwards said the alleged victim told police that she met Fillmore at the mall two months ago and that they had met several times since then. She reported that they'd had sex twice in one of the mall's family bathrooms. Mall-goers reported to mall security on Wednesday evening that an older male and a younger girl had gone into the family bathroom bath-room near the food court. Those reporting the incident said that they had been in there for some time. The girl later told police that they had been in the room for about an hour. Edwards said two mall security officers responded to the reports. The officers waited approximately approxi-mately five minutes outside the bathroom, until an uninvolved individual came out of one of the other bathrooms. Security personnel then knocked. The girl eventually opened the door and was found inside with Fillmore. Police arrived as the pair exited the bathroom. The two disclosed the relationship, relation-ship, which involved two instances instanc-es of sexual intercourse. 2 Giant Tack and Saddle Auctions Texas Saddlery Closes Forever Complete Liquidation!!! On the way to the jail, Edwards said Fillmore asked how many phone calls he would get, because be-cause he wanted to make two calls. "Fillmore said he wanted to call his mother and needed to call his fiancee, because she wouldn't be too happy about all this," Edwards Ed-wards said. Fillmore's fiancee is 15 years old, he said. Edwards said that the investigation investi-gation is ongoing, as there may be other victims. Though Edwards warns parents par-ents to be vigilant, he said that it was important to note that "the mall itself is not a dangerous place." Fillmore is being charged with two counts of first-degree felony rape of a child. Natalie Andrews STOLEN TRAILER RECOVERED RECOV-ERED A witness living on Monterey Drive in Orem called police Tuesday morning at 2:44 a.m. to report four Hispanics were seen hooking up a 1991 tent trailer behind a green Jeep Cherokee and leaving the area. The witness reported that he didn't believe the Hispanics owned the trailer and thought they were stealing it. The witness was right, said Lt. Doug Edwards. Sgt. Steve Swenson spotted the Jeep pulling the trailer and noticed a Toyota 4-Runner driving driv-ing directly behind the trailer. He found the trailer had been reported stolen Monday morning by the owner living in the area of 1000 N. 800 East. ;mmm Won't Peel, Crack or Warp Outperforms all Drop-in Liners Great for Boars, Trailers, RVs Jeep, etc. Helps Keep your Gear from Sliding T LIFETIME WARRANTY JJ PROTECTS AGAINST RUST AND CORROSION Resists Abrasion, even under Heavy Use Not a Paint-Like coating... Swenson Swen-son stayed with the stolen trailer and made a stop on the Jeep Cherokee with another officer, while other officers tried to locate the Toyota 4-Runner. The male driver and two males and one female passengers inside in-side the Jeep Cherokee claimed to not be able to speak English. A Spanish-speaking officer was on hand and translated. The occupants oc-cupants of the Jeep said they were just helping a friend move his trailer because he didn't have a trailer hitch on his vehicle. The four were also clueless about what their "friend's name" was, nor did they know where he lived, only that he was someone they worked with. They also couldn't remember the name of the place where they all work together. After listening to the four individuals for a while, the of ficers took all four occupants of the Jeep to jail. They searched the jeep and found a 9mm glock handgun and methamphetamine within easy reach of the driver and front passenger in the Jeep. They had altered an overhead storage compartment to hold those items. Arrested were: 21 -year-old Efrain De La Cruz Barron-Vizcarra, of Provo, (driver) with possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine in a drug-free zone, and possession of a firearm by a restricted person. 33-year-old Conrado Villa-Dominquez, Villa-Dominquez, of Provo, (front passenger) with possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine in a drug free zone, and possession of a firearm by a restricted person. 18-year-old Liliana Cruz-Guer-ro, of Provo, with possession of stolen property. 21-year-old Damion Gonzalez-Perez, Gonzalez-Perez, of Provo, with possession of stolen property.
