She teaches 6-2 (sixth grade the second group), and then music to all of 6-1, 6-2, and even 6-3 There are about 31 kids in each group. She teaches us how to play notes on the piano and how to draw the notes, how long to hold them out, and all of the things a typica iano teacher teaches. ie = The Sixth Grade do it. We are now playing the song “Old McDonald Had a Farm” and we are learning to play it in parts. We have a lot of fun in music; she makes it really exciting. ge, we love you and we really appreciate all that you do! We love our piano teacher and those who _ have her as a full time teacher think she is just fabulous. We thank her and love her for all of her work. Thanks Mrs. Hogge! Spelling Words = By Baylie Thompson Our beloved sixth grade teachers came up with some real stumpers as our spelling words recently. We had a lot of fun studying for the spelling test. At first, we thought it was all a joke but they actually took our scores. It was one of the hardest spelling tests we have taken yet. But it happened because it was a short week, so they only gave us two words. Ha! Ha! Mrs. Evans says that she had these words when she was a kid in sixth grade so she thought it was only fair to give them to us. The students all thought that their beloved sixth grade teachers were making a big joke, but when the test came out, they were all amazed. We all We dressed a whole teddy bears in different sports clothing. We made papier-maché basketballs, baseballs, and soccer balls to use as ornaments. The garland had sports cards in it. At the bottom we had sports equipinclud- the sixth grade mad th ornaments so the tree really came from the heart Several sixth graders were able to go down to the te¢cles Conference bunch of Christmas Tree them glisten in their own way. All of the Christmas trees were just beautiful in all of the ways that the people had decorated them. Haylie Hirst said, “ It was so fun and magical to see all the trees. It was so nice just to see how much people care about others.” & ~ ; Center and mas tree decorate our tree. It made you feel like you were in a magical place to see all of ie trees and everybody busy putting them u Looking at all of the Christmas trees was just wonderful. We loved seeing all of T hoe whole thing wouldn’t out the sixth grade teachers and Mr. Mack DeVries. He helped take the tree down to the Ecc le s Conference Center in his trailer. He and Mr. ichard Schneider helped set it | up. Mrs. Christine Hirst came too! The place was delightful We really » loved working on the tree knowfor the Christmas Tree Expr ing that all the donations for the trees were going to help kids jn the Weber and Ogden School Districts. We all felt like we could really help. Zoe Germanson stated, “I had a lot of fun decorating the tree.” We hope that the tree sells and makes some good money for a great cause! We all thank the sixth grade teachers for making it happen. The following students got 100% on their test. I am sure we all enjoyed studying and working our brains out to get a good score We all love the sixth grade so it really was just some fun to have something different that we could look forward to.
