Karen and Jeff and their family are now preparing for the fight of their lives specifics of their battle are unclear at this time, but it is evident that the cost of treatment is going to be very extensive. Karen’ type of brain tumor has an extremely fast growth rate, so time is of the essence. In the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors, we are asking you to join us in helping them overcome this obstacle. We are planning several fundraisers to help them with the extreme cost of the treatment. To start off the fundraisers, we are having a community yard sale on October 16 at the Eden Maverick, from 8:00 am to 2:00 p.m. A spook alley, carnival, raffle, craft show, etc. on October 30 from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Red Moose Lodge in Eden. All proceeds will go to the Starnes family. Any donations for the events would be greatly appreciated. Prayers for Karen and her family are needed and very much appreciated.
