S, Tho engineer and street committee J reported that satisfactory settlement regarding the placing of poles for the 'Merchants' Light & Power company on Twelfth street had been made. The report' was adopted. Claims for current expenses amounting amount-ing to $5,512.56, waterworks pay roll in tho sum of 5GG0.20 and the city pay rolls for $3,533.-1 0 were allowed and ordered paid. The engineer reported that after considering protests against the opon-lng opon-lng of Lincoln avenue from Ogden river to Second strcot, hex found that the city had gained Jurisdiction.
