Show GRUESOME TRAGEDY IN PIOCHE SHAFT A tragedy, enacted somewhere within with-in the conflne9 of this district, is th? muto story told by three skeletons unearthed in tho bottom of a 50-foot shaft On the property of the California Cali-fornia Plocbo Mining company bj William Wheatley and his son, Ebeo Wheatley, last Saturday, says the Pioche Record. One of tho skeletons is that of a man; another that of a woman, while the third is that of a dog; whom th? perpetrators of the deed probably threw into the shaft to cover up the last traco of a double crime.
